Justin Bieber Doubles Up at No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Charts

 Justin Bieber jumps to No. 1 on two Billboard dance charts with "What Do You Mean?"

On Dance Club Songs (dated Oct. 31), the track soars 4-1, earning Greatest Gainer honors for the third consecutive week. It's Bieber's second trip to the summit; "Beauty and a Beat" (featuring Nicki Minaj) led in 2013. Remixes from Delirious and Alex K, Strobe and Jerome Price, among others, contributed to Bieber's new leader.

Bieber also bumps to No. 1 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay (2-1). It's likewise his second leader on the list; "As Long as You Love Me" (featuring Big Sean) led in 2012.

R3HAB REMIX BOOSTS SWIFT: Staying with Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Taylor Swift swings into the top 10 with "Wildest Dreams" (11-5). It's her fifth consecutive (and total) top 10, the most of any act since her "Shake It Off" moved 13-8 on Oct. 18, 2014. While that track ended up peaking at No. 6, Swift rose as high as No. 4 with her next hit "Blank Space" (Jan. 17). Aiding airplay of "Wildest Dreams" is an officially commissioned remix by DJ R3hab, which sold 12,000 downloads in its first tracking week following its Oct. 15 release, according to Nielsen Music.

KASKADE KLIMBS: Kaskade also shoots into Dance/Mix Show Airplay top 10 with "Disarm You," featuring Ilsey (18-10). It's the 14th top 10 for the global DJ; in the chart's 12-year history only Britney Spears (20) and David Guetta (21) have more.

SECOND-BEST FIRST: On Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Major Lazer and DJ Snake lounge at No. 1 for a 14th week with "Lean On" (featuring MO). The track passes the 13-week reign of Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" (featuring Pharrell Williams) in 2013 and now trails only Avicii's 26-week domination with "Wake Me Up!" in 2013-14 for the most weeks at No. 1 since the chart's Jan. 26, 2013 inception.

"Lean" also leads Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs for a 17th non-consecutive week, pulling in 8.4 million U.S. streams (essentially equal to the prior week's sum), while returning to the top of Dance/Electronic Digital Songs for a 12th total week (2-1; 27,000, up 10 percent).

'BETTER' BETTER: Also on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, Audien and featured act Lady Antebellum each score their first top 10 with "Something Better" (12-10). The song soars by 37 percent to 13,000 downloads sold, a new weekly high. "Something" topped Dance Club Songs on Sept. 26.

ZHU ZOOMS: The unlikely trio of Zhu, rap act Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and contemporary jazz player Trombone Shorty debut at No. 25 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with "Hold Up, Wait a Minute" (6,000 sold). It's the first visit to the chart for the latter two acts.

"Hold Up" also enters at No. 11 on Dance/Electronic Digital Songs, marking the DJ's highest position on the chart yet; Zhu's signature hit, "Faded," reached No. 13 a year ago and has sold 211,000 to date.

A NEW DRUG: Finally, on Top Dance/Electronic Albums, Kelela's independently released Hallucinogen (EP), on Cherry Coffee Music, scores the Hot Shot Debut (No. 4, 2,000 sold). Concurrently, the set enters at No. 4 on Heatseekers Albums and No. 40 on Independent Albums. Two tracks from the EP have also pierced the Billboard + Twitter Emerging Artists chart: "A Message" (No. 11 in March) and "Rewind" (No. 4 in September).
